Brainstorming:
When brainstorming you try to come up with as many ideas or words
as you can.
When I wrote The Jalapeno Man I knew I wanted to use Texas as my
setting. I sat down with a yellow pad of paper and wrote as many
words as I could think of that had to do with Texas. I didn't worry
about whether or not I wanted to use them in my story. I just wanted
lots of words to choose from.
Think of a place you would like your fractured fairy tale to take
place.Write down your setting.
Say "get ready", "get set", "go"
and then brainstorm (write down as many words as you can think of
about your place) for one minute without stopping. |
